SUFFIXES - często używane przyrostki rzeczowników i przymiotników w j.angielskim.

Z myślą o osobach przygotowujących się do matury, innych egzaminów językowych, bądź osób chłonnych wiedzy i uczących się na własną rękę, zamieszczam listę często używanych suffixes , czyli przyrostków  w języku angielskim. Londyn - ciekawostki

 Lotniska w pobliżu Londynu: 1) City Airport (LCY) - najbliższe  2) Heathrow (LHR) 3) Gatwick (LGW) 4) Luton (LTN) 5) Stansted (STN) oraz   Southend (SEN) - najbardziej oddalone.  Muzeum figur woskowych, Madame Tussauds (założone w 1835). Interaktywne i robi wrażenie chyba na każdym. Muzeum jest usytuowane w pobliżu stacji metra Baker Street .  https://www.madametussauds.com/london/en/about/our-history/ Shakespeare`s Globe - teatr zbudowany w 1599, spłonął w pożarze w 1613 i został odbudowany rok później, następnie zamknięty w 1642 przez purytanów i zburzony w 1644. Obecna konstrukcja została zrekonstruowana dopiero w 1997.
